Volunteer
Thank you for interest in volunteering for Run for Success! The race will be held
on April 21st, 2012 at the Georgia Tech campus. Volunteers will meet at the IBB courtyard
(corner of Atlantic and Ferst) to sign-in at the start of each shift. They will then
be divided and assigned to groups with specific tasks. Three shifts are available, and
we will need a total of sixty volunteers to be split among these three shifts. See below
for shift details.
5:00am to 8:00am - Set Up Shift
Volunteers will help with setting up tables, decorations, drinking stations, race markers
and other set-up procedures.
We currently have 0 out of 15 available positions for this shift.
7:00am to 10:00am - Race Shift
Volunteers will be helping with last minute set-up, registration and runner sign-ins.
This group will also be staffing drinking stations, distributing water, and directing runners
to the appropriate locations. They will also take runners' numbers as they finish the race
and distributing prize packets.
We currently have 0 out of 30 available positions for this shift.
9:00am to 12:00pm - Clean Up Shift
If there is shift overlap, volunteers will be finishing up race tasks. At the end,
they will assist in clean up. This involves taking down signs and decorations, packing
up tables, water bottles and any other necessary clean-up activities.
We currently have 0 out of 15 available positions for this shift.

volunteer coordinator, if you want
to volunteer or have any questions about the event.
